Objectives

To raise finance for expansion and prepare for business growth

Details 

TS produced a full Business Plan for the proposed new structure including a full financial forecast to ascertain the financial commitment required.  A full project plan and Gantt chart was also produced and grant funding opportunities investigated.

Results

Finance was achieved from a combination of grants and commercial investment and business growth was achieved with a 40% increase in sales turnover in the 12 months following increased capacity.

 

CASE STUDY TWO

 

Objectives

To increase staff motivation which had been affected by a merger.

Details

TS firstly conducted a training needs analysis which identified areas of preferred personal development.  The courses were then coordinated and motivation monitored.  A staff incentive and reward scheme was also arranged  and a number of social events coordinated to encourage team-work and motivation.

Results

The whole process was monitored by TS and feedback was sought which was entirely positive and absenteeism reduced as a result.

 

CASE STUDY THREE

 

Objectives

To ascertain the market potential for a new business venture.

Details

TS firstly analysed the industry using SIC code analysis and market trends data.  A full potential customer profile was identified and surveys conducted to gain an insight into customer needs.  Finally a competitor analysis was conducted and the client's USP identified.

Results

The research identified a niche opportunity due to a gap in the market.  The information was used to produce a marketing strategy which enabled the company to make a dramatic impact on the market place from the outset.

 

CASE STUDY FOUR

 

Objectives

Production and implementation of a marketing plan to export products into international markets.

Details

Research was conducted into the feasibility of the export strategy and the market potential.  A full campaign strategy was then developed and implemented which included overseas trade exhibitions and strategic alliances.  The campaign was backed up by a full international PR campaign.

Results

The product was successfully launched in the United Emirates and plans are currently underway to expand the exportation strategy. 

 

CASE STUDY FIVE

 

Objectives

Cost cutting exercise to streamline the efficiency of the business.

Details

TS conducted an internal cost analysis of staff, administration systems, suppliers, manufacturing processes, equipment, capacity usage and general operations.  Following completion of the analysis, a proposal was put forward.  The client implemented a number of the proposals including negotiation with suppliers, updating administration systems and better usage of warehouse capacity. 

Results

Once the changes were implemented an 8% increase in net profit was achieved due to the more efficient operation.
